The Sankari Village in Uttarakhand is a route to The Paradise of Himalayas for every trekker. It is not just a scenic hamlet situated in Uttarkashi district but also a trekker’s delight. The Sankari Village is the last road head to the Govind Balabh Pant Wildlife Sanctuary. The village offers ecstatic views of the Himalayan skyline and a plethora of mountain peaks, gazing at you from a distance.

Kedarkantha trek route, delights in a windy trail through rich forests, snow-laden trail with patches of green, meadow used by shepherds during the summer season and witness several peaks and ranges. The thrill and excitement do not end here. Learn how to ski and feel the glee as you glide through frosty slopes. Feel the thrill as you walk through some of the beautiful views of the region. Spend some time staring at the mesmerizing beauty of the mountains.

Itinerary

Day 01: ARRIVE DEHRADUN AND DRIVE TO BASE CAMP AT SANKRI VILLAGE

Arrive Dehradun and drive to Sankri Village Base Camp (1920Mtr)
Welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis.
Dinner followed by bonfire and songs/ group entertainment

(MEALS: EVENING TEA, DINNER)

Day 02: Juda ka Talab (CAMP-1) (Trek 5 kms) 2850 mts)

Post breakfast.
Trek start from Sankari to Juda Lake (Juda ka Talab –Camp I)
Arrive around lunch time.
Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis
Evening to explore the beautiful forest around.
Soup time followed by dinner and campfire. Overnight in tents.

DAY03: JUDA-KA-TALAB (9,100FT) – KEDARKANTHA – JUDA LAKE (CAMP-2) (12500)

Post breakfast the group will depart for the trek to Kedarkantha
Great spectacular views of the Garhwal Himalayas mountains from the top. It’s a Height gain day to Snowline and beyond. Will enjoy the spectacular views
The group will logout from the hectic day and will sleep in the tents.
Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

DAY 4: KEDARKANTHA CAMP TO SANKRI.

Post breakfast, departure for trek to Sankri village.
Arrive around lunch time
Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served. Lunch at Base camp
Evening to explore the beautiful forest around
Soup time followed by dinner and campfire, Overnight in tents

DAY0 5: DEPARTURE

Post breakfast, drive to Dehradun via Kemptifall and Mussoorie.

Backpack Offloading Cost:

If the payment made in advance through Paytm/online, then the charges for
per bag will be Rs. 2000/- for the entire program. Which will be made 7 days
prior the program.
The backpack cannot weight more than 10 kgs. Backpack should have
waterproof cover. Suitcase/Strolley Bags will not be allowed.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Any person with health conditions like Asthma etc is advised not to go for this expedition. However, if they so decide, it is at their own risk.

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made within 7-20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 60% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made within 0-7 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 100% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
