Garbage is one of the most challenging factor that pollutes the environment everywhere. Garbage on foothills is being dumped for ages but attention of the society has been drawn recently towards garbage on the mountains, specially Himalayas. Our projects are focused on conducting activities and clean up of the mess that has been accumulated on all the places primarily the Foothills of Himalayas. We organize special activities, mass clean-ups and events in the community and schools to create the awareness level of the society towards restoring the environment.

District of Kangra:

Kangra valley is one of the most picturesque, green and luxuriant valleys of lower Himalayas sheltered by the sublime Dhauladhar range. This is one of the most important and famous districts of Himachal Pradesh due to its popularity. Kangra is mainly famous for its natural beauty and tea gardens.

Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVE PATHANKOT AND TRANSFER TO BONTHU VILLAGE BASE CAMP (1600M) – 3Hrs/85Kms

Arrive Pathankot railway station and drive to Bonthu Village
Breakfast at the camp
Welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis
Post lunch – walk to Kharibhai village or Kareri Village and Gaj River
Dinner followed by bonfire and songs/ group entertainment

(MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, EVENING TEA, SOUP & DINNER)

The back view open up views of dense forests and the front view showcases the quaint little Bonthu Village.

The group will go for an acclimatization walk after breakfast and will return till lunch.

Post lunch, we prepare our rucksacks for the trek and some adventure activities.

DAY 02: TREK TO CAMP 1 AT BHADHUN FOREST (1960M) 5KMS/ 3HRS

Post breakfast, departure for trek to Camp I
Arrive around lunch time
Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis
Adventure Activity – River Crossing / Team building games
Evening to explore the beautiful forest around
Soup time followed by dinner and campfire
overnight in tents

(MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH, EVENING TEA, SOUP & DINNER)

DAY 03: TREK TO CAMP 2 AT BAGGA (2450M) 5-6 KMS/ 4 HRS

Post breakfast, departure for trek to Camp 2
Arrive around lunch time.
Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served
Post lunch, welcome address by the camp leader and allotment of tents on sharing basis
Activity – Exploring the nearby high altitude area
Soup time followed by dinner and campfire, Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

DAY 04: CLIMB TO SNOWLINE AND BEYOND (3350M)

Post breakfast the group will depart for the trek

Great spectacular views of the Dhauladhar snow mountains from the top. It’s a Height gain day to Snowline and beyond. Will enjoy the spectacular views

The group will return back till lunch. Evening at leisure.
Soup time followed by dinner and campfire
The group will logout from the hectic day and will sleep in the tents.
Overnight in tents (Group Sharing basis)

DAY 05: TREK TO BASE CAMP (8KMS/4HRS)

Post breakfast, departure for trek to Base Camp
Arrive around lunch time
Rasna/ Lemonade on arrival to be served. Lunch at Base camp
Evening to explore the beautiful forest around
Soup time followed by dinner and campfire, Overnight in tents

Backpack Offloading Cost:

If the payment made in advance through Paytm/online, then the charges for
per bag will be Rs. 2000/- for the entire program. Which will be made 7 days
prior the program.
The backpack cannot weight more than 10 kgs. Backpack should have
waterproof cover. Suitcase/Strolley Bags will not be allowed.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Any person with health conditions like Asthma etc is advised not to go for this expedition. However, if they so decide, it is at their own risk.

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made within 7-20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 60% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made within 0-7 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 100% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
